Your Heritage Is Our Heritage
In the framework of the VIII International Cultural Forum in St. Petersburg the FSC presented Živa sculptures to the best Slavic Museum 2019 and the best Slavic heritage site. At a special round table the representatives of Russian and Slavic museums discussed the significance of Slavic heritage in the global context.
The Universe of Slavic Literature
One of the features of the Forum of Slavic Cultures programme in the Russian capital was Slavic literature, its authors and the exhibition 100 Slavic Novels, as well as the women writers' cultural route.
We're 15!
The International Foundation Forum of Slavic Cultures marked the 15th anniversary of its operation with an open-air concert titled Slavic Rhapsody. On this occasion the Forum conferred the title of honorary ambassador and FSC ambassador charters.
FSC Returns to the Museum Festival Intermuseum as Partner
For the second consecutive year the Forum of Slavic Cultures joined the Moscow Intermuseum festival as partner. At the Živa exhibition space the FSC presented the award for the best Slavic museum and heritage site, while Dr Andreja Rihter gave a lecture on human resources in museums in the framework of the festival's business program. She also presented Piranova – International Heritage Research Centre and participated in several expert discussions.
Forum of Slavic Cultures returns to UNESCO
The international foundation Forum of Slavic Cultures in collaboration with partner institutions put on the exhibition Women and the Great War. The opening ceremony took place in cooperation with Permanent Delegation of the Republic of Slovenia to UNESCO at the UNESCO palace in Paris. The exhibition will be on show until 15 April 2019.
Working meeting with the Chairman of the FSC Board
During her visit to Belgrade Andreja Rihter, Director of the Forum of Slavic Cultures, met with the Chairman of the FSC Board, Vladan Vukosavljević, Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Serbia.
100 Slavic Novels Exhibition in Bratislava
The opening ceremony of the 100 Slavic Novels exhibition in the centre of Bratislava was held under the auspices of Ľubica Laššáková, Minister of Culture of the Slovak Republic, Andreja Rihter, Director of the Forum of Slavic Cultures, and Silvia Stasselová, General Director of University Library in Bratislava.
