FSC Returns to the Museum Festival Intermuseum as Partner
For the second consecutive year the Forum of Slavic Cultures joined the Moscow Intermuseum festival as partner. At the Živa exhibition space the FSC presented the award for the best Slavic museum and heritage site, while Dr Andreja Rihter gave a lecture on human resources in museums in the framework of the festival's business program. She also presented Piranova – International Heritage Research Centre and participated in several expert discussions.
The Route of Women Writers at the 13th International Summer School of Museology
The 13th International Summer School of Museology took place under the auspices of the Forum of Slavic Cultures, Faculty of Humanities of the University of Primorska, ICOM Slovenia and Centre for Creativity of the Museum of Architecture and Design. It also served as a platform for the FSC to present the new cultural route.
Živa Award Judges Meet
Having visited all 25 nominated museums between February and April, Živa Award judges met and reported on their visits. Award recipients will be announced in October 2019 in Bar, Montenegro.
FSC a Special Guest at the International Cultural Forum in St. Petersburg
Ms Andreja Rihter, Director of the International Foundation Forum of Slavic Cultures whose headquarters are in Ljubljana, and Alla Manilova, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, signed a joint statement on the special status of the Forum of Slavic Cultures at the VIII St. Petersburg International Cultural Forum.
