The Forum of Slavic Cultures, in cooperation with partners, organised the Festival of Slavic Literatures. The first edition of the Festival, which will become a regular literary event on the cultural calendar in the years to come, was dedicated to the 15th anniversary of the 100 Slavic Novels collection. Friends and collaborators of the Gallery of Matica Srpska marked its impressive jubilee at the ceremonial session during which the Gallery conferred special awards to acknowledge their fruitful cooperation.
Three newly certified cultural routes were awarded certificates at the opening of the 11th Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe Annual Advisory Forum, held in Chania, Crete, Greece.
The Women Writers Route has been certified by the European Institute for Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe. The Women Writers Route is the first of the 48 Council of Europe Cultural Routes to be based in Slovenia.
The International foundation Forum of Slavic Cultures (FSK) bestowed the awards for the best Slavic museums in Belgrade in Serbia in co-operation with the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Serbia and Serbian partner institutions. In addition to the main award, the winner was Woodcarving Museum from Konjic (Bosnia and Herzegovina), the award for the best heritage site in Slavic countries was bestowed for the third time. It went to the Etar Regional Ethnographic Open-Air Museum from Gabrovo in Bulgaria.
