Piranova Colloquium: Sounds and Music

The Forum of Slavic Cultures invites you to join the Piranova colloquium entitled Sounds and Music.


The colloquium for museum professionals (max. 20) is dedicated to discussion and sharing of experience in the use of sounds and music in museums.

The lectures and workshops will be, among others, held by Christian Rohner form the Museum of Communication from Bern, Switzerland, the winner of the 2019 Council of Europe Museum Prize, Boštjan Perovšek (Slovenia), a musician, composer and soundscape artist, and representatives of an international project Sounds of Changes.

The visiting lecturers expect active participation from attendants who will be given the opportunity to present themselves and their work in a museum, while the colloquium will serve as a source of new knowledge and skills in the use of sounds and music in museum displays, promotional campaigns and other forms of communication with museum visitors and other public. Participants will receive a certificate of attendance.
