The FSC presented its edition 100 Slavic Novels at the Academic Book Fair Liber.ac organized by the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana for the eighth year in a row. In addition to the stand with the books from this unique series, in which so far more than 60 books have been published, the presentation of the edition took place on the stage. Former Slovenian editor of the edition and translator Jelka Ciglenečki, Head of the Department of Slavic Languages and translator Namita Subiotto, writer Jani Virk and project manager Mateja Jančar presented the project. At this occasion the 100 Slavic Novels exhibition was opened in the Department of Slavic Languages of the Faculty of Arts. It will be on display until 15 July. Last November the exhibition was inaugurated in the Unesco Palace in Paris, it could also be seen in the Ljubljana City Library and in the FSC Centre in Radlje ob Dravi.
The participation of the FSC at the Liber.ac book fair is a result of more intensive co-operation with the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ljubljana and its Department for Slavic Languages.
