The 11th International Summer School of Museology is drawing near; it is to take place in Piran and Koper (Slovenia) between 21 and 26 May. This year’s edition will be dedicated to images and, more specifically, to digital narratives in museums. The principal lecturer Anna Czarniecka, Deputy Director of the Polish National Institute for Museums and Public Collections (NIMOZ), will present the museums that won the Sybilla and Visible Museums Awards. Other renowned lecturers will also speak on the meaning of images and their presence in museums based on the cases of good practices.
The International Summer School of Museology is intended for students, curators as well as other professionals in the fields of museology, cultural heritage and management. The participants that have applied so far are coming from a number of different countries, among others from Serbia, Montenegro, Italy, the Russian Federation and Slovenia.
