Živa Award Judges Meet
Having visited all 25 nominated museums between February and April, Živa Award judges met and reported on their visits. Award recipients will be announced in October 2019 in Bar, Montenegro.
Živa Award judges, who come from Slavic countries and via the European Museum Academy also from Italy, Greece, the Netherlands and Germany, visited all of the museums nominated for the Živa Award for the best Slavic museum and the best Slavic heritage site.
They kept their colleagues informed of their visits through reports, photographs and other materials that they presented at the annual judges’ meeting, where they decided which of the nominated museums deserved the title of the best. The award ceremony will take place in Bar between 2 and 5 October 2019 as part of the four-day program organised in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro.
